National Electrical Code

First published in 1897, the National Electrical Code has become exclusively adopted in its various editions, across the whole of the United States of America. It began through a coalition of insurance companies across the country who were aiming to reduce the risk from the nascent electrical industry, and is now stewarded by the National Fire Protection Association.
